Funeral services for 88 year old Avis McBee of Memphis will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 3 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel with Cole Tippett officiating.

Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery.

Avis McBee died Sunday evening, October 30, 2022 at the LaBelle Manor Care Center.

Visitation is prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the 4H Extension Council, Scotland County Fire Department or the Scotland County Antique Fair and can be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main St., Memphis, MO 63555.

Mrs. McBee is survived by her children: Cindy and husband Mike Whitlock of Louisiana, MO, Cathy McBee of Memphis, Bill and wife Lori McBee of Kirksville, Matt McBee of Memphis, Nancy and husband Mitch McClamroch of Memphis and Kristy and husband Alvin Holton of Downing; a sister, Karen and husband Lee Epperson of New Sharon, IA; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
