CAPNEMO Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Mobile Outreach Unit

The Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri, or CAPNEMO, held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Memphis Monday afternoon for their new Mobile Outreach Unit, or MOU, at the Memphis Head Start Building.  Mobile Outreach Unit Coordinator Andrea Thurman spoke with KMEM News to explain what the MOU is all about.

Thurman says that the unit will help CAPNEMO reach outlying counties of their coverage area.  This is even more critical with today’s economic factors, such as high gas prices.

Thurman and the Mobile Outreach Unit will have a regular schedule of appearance in counties throughout the listening area, including Scotland County.
