Kirksville Police Investigating Weekend Assault  

KIRKSVILLE, Mo.- On Sunday, at approximately 1:25 AM, Kirksville Police and other first responders were dispatched to the 500 block of East Pierce Street in reference to an unconscious male.  Police and medical personnel arrived on scene and located the male, a 27-year-old male of LaPlata.  The man was seriously injured and was transported for medical care.  Police have identified some witnesses to the event who indicted the male was assaulted outside a party not far from the area where he was found. 

Kirksville Police are asking that anyone who witnessed this assault or have information about the incident, contact Kirksville Police.
