Marjorie Grover 1928 – 2021

Funeral services for Marjorie Fern Grover, 92, of Verona, Illinois formerly of Memphis will be held Wednesday evening, 6/16, at 6:00 P.M. the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis. She will be taken to the Shagow Funeral Home, 6/17, in Astoria, IL. for a service there at 2:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon. A vistation with the family present will preceed the service from 12 to 2 P.M. at Shagow’s. Interment will follow on Thursday afternoon at the Summum Cemetery at Summum, IL

A Visitation is scheduled Wednesday evening, 6/16, at Payne’s from 4 to 6 P.M. up until the time of service with the family present to receive friends.

Marjorie Grover passed away early Friday morning, 6/11, at her home under hospice care in Verona, Illinois.

Surviving is one brother, Raymond (Edie) Shawgo Jr. of Galesburg, Illinois; two daughters, Dixie (Jerry) Stitt of Verona, IL and Susan (Dennis) Thompson of Lenoir City, TN; three sons: Larry (Debbie) Grover of Washington, IL; Roger (Phyllis) Grover and Steven (Melinda) Grover both of Memphis, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials in Marjorie’s memory are suggested to the Hospice Care of your choice or to the Summum Cemetery % Monte Graham, 6410 North Marbletown Rd. Havana, IL 62644.
