KAHOKA, Mo.- There is good news to report for Clark County deer hunters. Conservation agent Rudd Binsbacher told KMEM News that in the most recent round of sampling during the 2021 deer season there were no positive results for Chronic Wasting Disease, or CWD, from any of the deer sampled during mandatory testing in Clark County. He says that if that can continue to be the case, then eventually Clark County may be able to have the mandatory testing lifted at a future date.
