Dave O’Hara hosts a Monday and Friday 1:00-2:00 afternoon sports talk radio show with new and recurring guests talking about a wide range of national, regional and local professional and amateur sports. Whether discussing current events or reminiscing about the past, you’ll be entertained by each show with Dave and his extensive guest list of, “sports people.”
Dave O’Hara was born and raised in the Postville, Iowa area where he attended and graduated from Postville, Iowa Community Schools. He participated in football, basketball, baseball and track all four years in high school, then studied and graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with an Associate of Arts Degree and participated in basketball for both years at Kirkwood.
Dave then went on to graduate from Northeast Missouri State University, (currently named Truman State University), in Kirksville, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Work history includes Communications director and spokesperson for Universal Fitness Products in Kansas City, Missouri and Cedar Rapids, Iowa;
Production assistant and actor in monologue sketches for, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” in Burbank, California.
He also worked as a Daily Talk Show Host for Fox Sports Radio in Kansas City, Missouri as well as co-creator, co-producer and co-host for weekly show, “Behind the Stats Radio,” in Kansas City, Missouri. Dave is also the creator, producer, writer and host for weekly column and show, “Iowans Impacting Sports,” and co-host of, “Cubs Alumni Chat,” in Des Moines, Iowa.
