Pete Smith 1947 – 2023

Graveside services for Pete Smith, 75, of Milan, formerly of Scotland County, will be held Friday afternoon, 4/7, at the Gorin cemetery at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Donna Clark Fuller officiating. Full Military honors will be provided by the Wallace W. Gillespie V.F. W Post # 6958 of Memphis and the honor guards from his unit.

Pete passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon, 4/4, in Milan.

Survivors include his sister: Janet Swann; children: Jeff Smith and Jennifer Smith Martin (and their mother, Mooreen Holton); a niece; Mary Swann Parry; nephews: Matt Swann and Mike Swann along with other relatives and friends.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the the American Legion at Milan and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
