Scotland County Hospital Auxiliary Donates Toward Playground Equipment at Daycare

Written by on August 23, 2023

MEMPHIS, Mo.- The Scotland County Hospital Auxiliary recently donated money toward the purchase of new playground equipment at the Tiger Cub Care, a daycare for children of employees at Scotland County Hospital. The outside play area received a complete overhaul from the Hospital’s Maintenance Department. Not only was the new equipment installed for the children at the daycare, but approximately $2,000 of rubber tire chips were delivered and installed as well. In addition to the donation from the Auxiliary, a private donation was also received.  Another source of funds for the project is an every other Friday morning breakfast of Biscuits & Gravy for employees by free-will donation.  That on-going fundraiser generated nearly $2,000 for the project.
