Scotland County R-1 Jr. & Sr. High Students of the Month for February

The Tiger Stripes character words are respect, honesty, perseverance, teamwork, fairness, citizenship, responsibility, cooperation, and pride. The staff at SCR-1 junior high and high school has selected the following students for February Student of the Month:


Junior High: Carman Robinson, Zada Ketchum, Layla Baker, Avery Cowell, Frank HadekaHigh School: Gage Graham, Kara Mallett, Tyson Hillyer, Taydem Morton, Hunter Sapp, Xavier Lucas, Breyonna Mitchell, Westin Homer, Payton Miller, Delsin Holt

Each student is rewarded with a Student of the Month certificate and a gift certificate to Keith’s Cafe.  Layla Baker and Westin Homer were selected as the Most Valuable Tigers (MVTs) for February.  The MVTs also receive a gift certificate for a t-shirt from Karri Feeney Eclipse.  Congratulations to all the students of the month!


The Employees of the Month for the junior/senior high school building are selected by employee nominations.  For February, Abi Haire and Leslie Austin received the most nominations for all of their hard work and dedication to SCR-1.   Abi has done a great job transitioning into her role as the junior high English teacher and engaging the students in the material. Leslie always has her students’ best interests at heart and has a smile on her face. The Employees of the Month receive a certificate, a front row parking spot, and a gift certificate for a t-shirt from Karri Feeney Eclipse. Congratulations, Mrs. Haire and Mrs. Austin!
