Single-Car Rollover Crash Leaves Memphis Woman with Serious Injuries

A one-vehicle crash Friday morning has left a Memphis woman with serious injuries.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a Honda CRV was being driven westbound on Highway 136 about a mile west of the Memphis Airport by 57-year old Tammy Wheeler at 11:30 Friday morning when the SUV she was driving left the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a fence and then a tree. The SUV finally overturned before coming to rest on its top. The vehicle was totalled.

Wheeler was taken by Scotland County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department and Scotland County Ambulance.
